I study computational models of expert decision-making under uncertainty, with a focus on how experts learn what parts of complex environments deserve attention.
My research sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cognitive modeling, bounded rationality, and human-AI decision support. I am especially interested in domains where exhaustive reasoning is infeasible, attention is limited, and decisions carry real operational or human consequences.

How can we model some of the processes that experts use to inform their decisions? What do those mechanisms look like in code?
